Bio

Elpida Baxevani was born and raised in Kavala. She began her musical studies at the age of 9. He holds degrees in piano, harmony, counterpoint and fugue with an Excellent grade. In 2014 she graduated from the Department of Music Science and Art of the University of Macedonia majoring in “European Music: Piano” with professor Vinia Tsopela and continued her studies in the Master’s Program of the University of Macedonia in the major “Teaching of Music” preparing her master’s thesis on the topic of “Group piano lessons”.

He has participated in piano seminars with internationally renowned pianists from Greece and abroad such as Lilia Boyadjieva, Dimitris Toufexis, Pavlos Dimitriadis etc. as well as in music education seminars in the Orff method. He has taken part in many chamber music concerts.

In 2014 she started working as a piano teacher in music schools. From 2021 she works as a permanent teacher at the Music School of Kavala. She also works as a piano teacher and accompanist at the Municipal Conservatory of Kavala and the Neapolis Conservatory. Since 2019 he is a member of the Orchestra of Friends of Music Thrace.
