*The Workshop is independent from the rest of Eastern Week. Participants start on Friday, August 4th in the afternoon and leave on Sunday, August 6th. The participation fee includes lessons and accommodation

Thanos Tselebis has been playing the santouri and percussion since the age of 9. From the age of 13 he participates in concerts and orchestras. He started learning drums from the age of 15, initially as a self-taught student and then apprenticed with a large number of Greek drummers. He has collaborated with a number of Greek artists and currently collaborates with Eleni Vitali and Christos Thivaios.

In 2017 he founded and directs the percussion group “FASARIOSO” which consists of 30 members. The team plays on the street, rhythms from the Afro-Brazilian culture. It consists mainly of citizens of Drama. Similar groups exist in other cities, which he directs (Xanthi – Batinada, Serres – Parakroustes).
