In our lessons, we will explore the possibilities of the cello, its techniques and tone colors, with an approach tailored to each student’s level.
We will also work on time management in music, using inner singing as our guide.
The lessons will be open to everyone.
She was born in Thessaloniki in 1981.
She completed her studies at the New Conservatory of Thessaloniki under Roussi Dragnev and pursued advanced studies at the State Conservatory of Boulogne-Billancourt in Paris with Xavier Gagnepain.
She has been awarded two first prizes and one second prize in national competitions and has performed as a soloist in Belgrade and Thessaloniki with the New Conservatory of Thessaloniki Orchestra and the Thessaloniki State Orchestra as part of a competition. In 2014, she performed with the Thessaloniki State Orchestra, playing Michael Nyman’s double concerto for cello and saxophone alongside Theodor Kerkezos, under the composer’s direction.
She has attended masterclasses with Roussi Dragnev, Natalia Shakhovskaya, András Tóth, Alexandru Moruşanu, Alexander Rudin, Raphael Wallfisch, André Meunier, and Vincent Courtois, and studied for a year with Peter Müller.
Since 2005, she has been a member of the “Emilios Riadis” String Quartet, and since 2007, she has been a permanent member of the Thessaloniki State Orchestra, holding the position of Co-Principal Cello.
