Bio

She obtained her Viola Diploma in 1994 with highest honors from the Municipal Conservatory of Thessaloniki (class of Eirini Dragneva). That same year, she was awarded the “Advanced Certificate of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music” in England.

She attended seminars with Stelios Kafantaris and Tasos Adamopoulos, as well as masterclasses with Roland Vamosand Roger Chase. From 2003 to 2005, she was an active member of the Casalmaggiore International Festival in Cremona.

She has participated in chamber music concerts in Greece, Italy, Egypt, Ukraine, the USA, Central America, and Uruguay, and has appeared as a soloist with the Symphony Orchestra of the Municipality of Thessaloniki and the Symphony Orchestra of the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki at the Athens Concert Hall.

She has collaborated with the dissonArt ensemble and Idée Fixe, performing 20th and 21st-century music.

She held the position of Principal Viola at the Symphony Orchestra of the Municipality of Thessaloniki, and since 2002, she has been a permanent member of the Thessaloniki State Orchestra, where she currently holds the position of Co-Principal Viola. She is also a member of the “Emilios Riadis” String Quartet.

Since 2007, she has been a viola professor at the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki. Her students have distinguished themselves in national competitions such as “Maria Chairogiorgou-Sygarra”, “Tasos Papas”, and “Orpheus Soloist”, as well as in international competitions, including the “World Classical Music Awards”, “U.S.A. Classical Music I.Y.M.C.”, and the “Vienna International Music Competition”.
